Make a profit on the Alaskans | Letters to the Editor


To the Editor: As inflation continues across the country, millions of dollars are being trickled down to Alaskans.

Albertsons, Anica and AC counselors outside Alaska continue to live out their dream of million-dollar homes as Alaskans struggle with sky-high diaper and formula prices. Most of these companies’ profit margins are outrageous and could be reduced to help rural Alaska. Instead, they are creating a monopoly because rural Alaskans have no other choice in most cases.
