Italian automotive magazine Quattroruote reports that the seven-time world champion Hamilton has passed the Pagani Zonda 760LH to a new home, a car designed especially for him with a manual gearbox, thus explaining his initials “LH” at the end of the name. model. .

Powered by a V12 engine, Hamilton bought the 760 horsepower supercar for € 1.4 million, personally ordered from Horacio Pagani and decked out in Hamilton’s iconic Formula 1 brand purple, but the value sales turned out to be much higher. .

Hamilton has now sold the Zonda for € 10million, according to the report, which brought it a very net profit of € 8.6million, or around £ 7.2million.

The report refers to a past interview with Hamilton where he called the Zonda a favorite car, but Hamilton’s motive behind its current sale is believed to be its growing environmental awareness.

“The reasons are in line with the attitude taken by the champion Mercedes in matters of ethics: in fact, his cars will be, at a minimum, hybrids,” the report said.

He adds that Hamilton’s next purchase, in line with this trend, will be the Mercedes-AMG One hybrid, incorporating technology from the Formula 1 team.
